Live streaming is internet content that is delivered in real-time similar to live broadcasts, but broadcast content is over the air via a broadcast signal.  Live internet streaming utilizes source media. On-demand streams are often saved to hard discs and servers for extended amounts of time, while the live streams are only available at one time only.
